I only ordered it for the vent clamp functionality so I was surprised when it also came with an optional window mount as well which I ended up using to modify an old, crappy mount that holds my navigation unit. Both vent clip and window mount work great! I like how the device ratchets in to hold your devices but then smoothly lets go when you press the release button. It lets you know that your $300 iPod or other device is safe and isn't going to fall out at the first speed bump. Unlike other vent units that I've tried, the gator clamps that hook into your A/C vent hold very securely. So securely, in fact, that it is slightly difficult to get it off. So if you want to use it for multiple vehicles, I recommend buying two. The price was really cheap but the quality is not. Great product. I would recommend this to anyone, and have!
