I needed a replacement battery charger for my Panasonic camera ASAP and bought one of these despite reading the previous reviewer's comments about the product being "cheap" and "flimsy" as it was available at an office supplies store near my home. It is lightweight but I never felt the product would break in my hand. It is of unusual design though as one must move the contacts to fit the battery you are using and if you aren't gentle, you could break one of these off, however, I see this as a bonus of the design-- no extra parts needed to fit different batteries! The spring-loaded cover holds the battery tightly in place and there is a small LCD screen that shows whether the battery is charging, if it's fully charged, or if the battery isn't in touch with the contacts. I love the car adapter as I didn't have one for my previous Panasonic charger.
I'm so pleased with this charger that I'm planning to buy a second one, just in case I lose this one too.
