(More customer reviews)I just purchased this mount and have used it a few times.So far it has maintained a very good grip on my dashboard; it hasn't slipped an inch while I've been driving.
Unlike other friction mounts that require you to use your existing suction-cup mount in conjunction with their base, this item completely replaces your windshield mount, all you need is the bracket that clips onto the unit itself.Since it is a single piece, this unit should avoid having the problems that others have reported with similar mounts, mainly that their suction-cup mount doesn't always stay adhered.
