(More customer reviews)The unit works fine.It is lacking a solid state COMPASS so you cannot get direction in the photo.You get coordinates and altitude in meters. It does draw over 100 mA (the power 5 standard LEDs would take) when it is on (even when the camera is off).If you leave it on and put your camera away you will have a dead battery when you want to use your camera again.The LED inside the unit that lets you know it is ON is very difficult to see in daylight.The camera top LCD screen will have a GPS logo if it is on and tracking.
